Hi everyone,

I'm a brand new investor who is living in L.A. and looking for opportunities nationally. I'm thrilled to have found BP and look forward to learning from all of the gracious members I see on here, and hopefully contributing something myself in the not-too-distant future! Due to time and the shortened learning curve, I'm predominantly interested in finding turn-key opportunities, and I would love any thoughts or advice you are willing to share. My goal is to purchase 4 properties in 2016 and while it seems daunting from here (given my lack of experience), I'm ready to jump in, bump my head and learn as I go. Anything you're willing to share is welcomed and appreciated!

Thanks for having me,

Jesse

@Steve Ipock Thanks Steve! I'm looking predominantly for SFR, however the particular property in NE KC is a duplex. It's a turn-key investment that is tenanted and already has management in place and the numbers pencil at this point, but being unfamiliar with the area as a whole, I'm trying to get a better feel for the area as told by locals. I'd love to know of any local turn-key providers that you know and love, if you're open to sharing.

Hey all,

I'm a new investor who is looking to make a couple of purchases in the near term and have been looking rather intently in KC and St. Louis, MO. In St. Louis, there seem to be a number of "up and coming" neighborhoods with good proximity to the city center, employment etc. while also having a significant investment being made into the neighborhood themselves, including Dutchtown and Gravois park (Dutchtown revitlization site http://dt2stl.org). In KC, I'm looking at a number of properties in Northeast KC. I live in Los Angeles, and as such am largely unfamiliar with these markets and therefore would love to hear any experiences that others may have had there.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Jesse

P.S. This is my first post, so go easy on me :)
