Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! BP is huge and I plan to spend the next few weeks getting my bearings and suring up my foundation. (I'm on a few automotive forums and spoon feeding basic info is a pet peeve of mine)

@john Kilduff Thanks!!! That post looks amazing

I'm primarily looking at a 2/3/4 to get started, but I've been considering doing a flip or two to help finance that, either way I plan to make an offer before years end.

Hi,

"I don't want to fix toilets" is one of the most frequently cited half-joking justifications for shying away from real estate. Ironically....I just had to fix my own toilet, so I suppose that means it's time to dive in!

Seriously though, I've had interest in real estate ever since I helped rehab properties fur my friend's dad as a summer job. Much later, working as a mortgage loan officer gave me additional insight into the world of real estate, however the ultimate fate of that company reinforced my desire to build a business for my family not dependent on the whims of the board room.

I've been a serial renter, and have been fortunate to have good land lords (have a 200 year old oak fall on your roof at 5am, and you really learn who you are dealing with, lol) who have shared some of their insight over the years. Now that it's time to make a purchase, why not make it an investment as well.

I'm here to learn and to grow and I look forward to connecting with many of you as we chart the course to success!
