Thanks you guys :)  Diedrick...I'm involved in the  "Bigger Pockets Meetup" group in Henderson and also "The Outback Real Estate Education & Investment Club".  You can find them both on www.meetup.com Just search for them by name or reach out to me privately if you're not having any luck.  Hope to meet you soon!

Totally did not realize this was a post from 7 years ago. I'm curious to know how Patrick is doing.

Hello!  I got into real estate investing out of necessity.  Divorced and needing a place to live, I wanted to be smart with my money.  After my first meet up in a group of real estate investors, my eyes were opened to a much broader view.  This view is one of real financial freedom as well as the ability for me to take a dream of mine & turn it into a goal.   To say I've been bitten by the real estate investing bug is putting it mildly.  While continuing to learn every thing I can about being an investor, I'm making cold calls to DMF sellers, building relationships in the real estate investment community and slowly building a team of professionals.  I'm excited & grateful for being lead to real estate investing and can't wait for what the future holds.
