I honestly didn't even think about all of those demographics! I looked up information on the census and saw that there was a declining growth in population. I also called the town to get more information about short term rentals, economic growth, and other statistics. Lets just say, its back to the drawing board! Thank you all for information!

Hi everyone! I have been researching different markets and I think my target area is going to be Berlin, NH. Can anyone that is investing or living there tell me more about the area? I havent had time to drive up there due to the weather and the commute, but I plan on doing so very soon. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I first learned of BiggerPockets back in 2018, and never joined the community because I thought "Geez, everyone is on this, I feel like I'm too late!". Now I am finally deciding to make a change, join the community, and take some action to building a real estate portfolio.

I am currently residing in southern New Hampshire, around the Manchester area, and my goal this year is to close on a minimum of 1 rental property. I would like to invest in a multifamily property or a mobile home. I have been reading books, posts, and listening to podcasts to absorb as much information as possible. If anyone has any tips for a rookie, I am all ears! Thanks!!!
