Hi everyone, my name is Jovani and I’ve known about BiggerPockets for a few years now. I want to start investing into real estate there is so much information out there, but after listening to the latest podcast “463 How to get your first property in the next 90 days” it really summed it up for me. I have been laid off of work for over a year and don’t have much money to invest. I wanted to start with wholesaling. I’m curious if there is any other wholesalers in the Las Vegas area? The market here is crazy right now, is it still possible to find deals? I know it takes a lot of hard work and persistency like driving around and cold calling, letters, postcards. I have no problem doing that.

What I really want to find is someone I can count on for guidance. I can do the hard work and find a deal, but once I have the meeting set up with the seller I would really appreciate a partner to show me the ropes from that point on.

Is this a realistic strategy with such a crazy market?

I’m looking for some help, advice, mentorship around Las Vegas. Real estate isn’t easy, and takes a lot of work. I find myself having more questions then answers which is intimidating. Anyone in Las Vegas wholesaling or investing in different ways willing to talk over some coffee? Over the phone? Skype? Etc. Or what ever works. I want to learn and know my future is in real estate. Everywhere I turn the first lesson is networking, surrounding yourself with experts, and mentors. Please help.
