What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Desire not to rent. I rented for 1 month out of College and that was the last time I payed rent, without having my hand in the owners cookie jar. Now looking to finish the R's. I already Bought, Started rehab, Rented, now I am going back to finish all rehab, Rent again, Refinance, and T-10

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Agent, I made her work for it, I was young, had been working for 1 month our of College, we found a nice piece of land with a foreclosed house. Needed floors, new roof, heating system, and some other things. Bank did some, so did I, now I am going back to finish it and refinance.

How did you finance this deal?

traditional, equity.

How did you add value to the deal?

rehad floors bathroom

What was the outcome?

been renting and living here for 15 years, and I'm now 37.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

that I should have not stopped, I now own 3, two from the last 3 years, but I am ready to go ice in the veins chilly, BRRRR

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
