I live in Bothell WA, it's a booming city about 30 mins northeast of Seattle. At this point I'm sort of priced out of the market. So my question is, would it seem economically smart to buy a vacant lot, use a home builder to build a house and possibly put and ADU (accessory dwelling unit)on the property as well to cash flow? I'll live in the main house and eventually rent it out. Any pointers about going this route is greatly appreciated. Things like additional costs for utilities being brought to the home, etc. thanks!!

Yes I will have some capital to invest.  I'm selling my house in Bothell and possibly buying an apartment here to live in and later cash flow.  I'll use the rest of the proceeds to invest out of state.  After the sale of my house I'll probably walk away with about 80k.  Thank you for the response and I'll definetly reach out to you if I have anymore questions. @Larry Fried

Thanks, @Alex Chin, good to know there are people doing it successfully.  I definitely do research in that market.  I also add "turnkey" to my key word alerts.  Thank you again!

My name is Josh, and I'm trying to get started in the real estate investing world. I live in the Seattle area, and I wanted to ask. Is wholesaling in a costal market, our market is booming now, possible when price are high and are continuing to go up. Also how do I invest in Midwest markets for cash flow? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
