Hey everybody, I've been listening to BP podcasts for a couple years now, and I'm excited to finally get in here and start accelerating my learning and meet some like-minded people.

I'm a Navy public affairs officer, so I move every couple years, but I'm currently in Germantown, TN (near Memphis), and I've been interested in RE my entire life. My mother is a RE agent back home in California (30+ years), I have one rental property in Virginia Beach, and I'm mostly interested in BRRRRs, flips, and long/medium-term multifamily properties. Long distance investing/managing is an obvious for me since I move every couple years, but I retire from the Navy in 5-7 years, and I'll finally settle in one place.

I'm hoping to learn from others on the forums, perhaps find some mentors, meet some people in person and watch them do the things I've only read about thus far, and grow my portfolio.

I'm interested in the VB/VA and OK City markets (lots of family in OK now), but then again, I don't have much experience analyzing markets.

Again, excited to be here!
