@Michael Ealy Thanks Mike for responding! I have high network individuals in my network and I am continually growing it. The hard part is that the relationship is usually built on my graduate degree and connecting with these individuals for advice and industry experience. With that being said I know many of the major Developers in the area and have access to high level individuals across industries but how do I use the relationships I have fostered to bring up investing opportunities?

@Paul Moore Thank you sir I appreciate the feedback and good to hear I am on the right track!

I want to be able to build an acquisition pipeline. I am currently trying to find off market deals and also following market deals. I have 3 property management companies I am targeting right now. I expect to be involved heavily in the beginning and I actually desire that to learn the entire process.

I am currently trying to develop the rest of my team at the moment before moving forward.

@Greg Dickerson Hey Greg, thanks for the feedback. I am looking to do value add multifamily investing. Please delineate syndication and raising funds for me so I better understand. This is definitely new territory for me.

Hey BP,

I am a graduate student in a real estate development program. I do not have considerable funds to get into real estate myself because of this. I have a partner that is willing to contribute money into a LLC in return for my management. However, I also wanted to start doing syndication in my area (Buffalo, NY). What are some things I need to have in place and/or know in order to begin starting a syndication fund. Lawyers, Property management, LLC Formation etc?

Thanks to everyone in advance!

@Robert Perez Buffalo NY is a great market. There is job growth and considerable development happening all over the city. Let me know what you think after you look into it
