Hello,

I am considering purchasing a multifamily property with 25 units in Cleveland Heights. The plan is to replace all current free-market tenants with Section 8 tenants, as the rents are higher. Since this will be my first time buying out of state, does anyone have any advice or experience with this process? Additionally, how long does it typically take to convert the units from free-market to Section 8?

Thanks for the help.

Hi- I am currently looking for deal flow in the Columbus area. Ideally a property that's cash flowing (min 6% cap) with the chance of appreciation. Suburbs close to the city center would be great and looking for a light value add play.

I would say a blend- Cash flow is key and ideally would like a property to appreciate to some degree. Would love to know what areas you had in mind

Are you looking for more cash flow or appreciation?

Depends on what you're after. Columbus has many strong neighborhoods across the city. I can share you my neighborhood grade map to help you explore specific areas.

 I would greatly appreciate that!
