Thanks everyone for the great advice, analyzing many properities now to make sure they meet my criteria and also make sure the numbers work.  We thought about house hacking but our situation wouldn’t be ideal for it currently but would still be a possibility in the future.  I’ve reached out to a handful of investor friendly real estate investors and lenders to start getting a team assembled. I find myself constantly learning and reading about real estate investing, the bug has definitely gotten me!

Hey guys! Just wanted to introduce myself.  I am a new investor in Texas, and have spent the last half year educating myself on anything real estate investing related.  I realized that this was the path for me to be financially free.  Any advice from seasoned investors would be appreciated on pulling the trigger on the first investment property.  Thanks in advance!
