Hey Brent! Thank you for the reply, I hope you both find something great. Isn't that the best place ever! I love the smoky mountains, and would even love to retire up there or do six months there and six months here in Florida. I'm having somewhat of a crysis, I'm torn between two hard life changing choices right now, I can stay with the career I have, and take a huge opportunity, or try and move on to property management. I don't think I could do both. Do you have any experience with property management? Do you plan to manage it on your own? P.s if you buy a cabin let me know! Oh, and thank you for the info on Smoky Mountain Real Estate Corp.

Hey, I'm no where near you, I'll be in the panama city/ Tallahassee areas for a while, but I want to maybe move to Pigeon Forge area and do short term rental management with hopes of picking up a few of my own rentals.

I don't have any experience yet, and just wanted to talk with some people who have done this sort of work or own a vacation rental management company.  I guess the area up there just connects with me, and I wanted to get out on my own at some point. I'm thinking about working for one down here first, just to see if I'd like it. I also wanted to explore the day to day issues.  So if you have any thoughts on short term vacation rentals, I'd love to hear them. I think a company using the listing sites could make someone wealthy when combined with its own listing sites. Lots of repeat business, if you're good.
