@Joseph Cacciapaglia  Wow.  Great advice!  How can you tell if a real estate agent is just a dabbler vs works exclusively with investors?  Are there any specific questions you would ask to tip there hand?  And how can I prove that I'm a serious investor when I'm just starting out?  I want to have all my ducks in a row when I reach out to them.  Also, how do you see the market in San Antonio given a potential recession?

@Mike D'Arrigo Great advice!  I definitely plan on just one city at first.  What are a few key things you look for when picking an OOS city to focus on?  The unemployment rate, population growth...?  Would you recommend I talk to a real estate agent first or property manager?

@Account Closed Thanks for the advice.  I'll be sure to try and do my homework as much as I can.  Any specific thing that I should look out for?

@Caleb Brown Thanks! I'll take you up on a phone call.  I've been looking into Kansas City.  I hear it's a great market to be in.

@Rochelle Duong I'm in Los Angeles and new to OOS investing too.  Are you going to any local meetups?  I want to meet and learn from as many people as possible.

I'm in Los Angeles and new to OOS Real Estate rental investing. I'm committing to investing 5 doors in 2020 and replacing my income by 2025.  Committing to reading a new real estate book every week until I run out (I have 4 in my current backlog. Suggestions?). Committing to building a trusted network.  It's going to be a good year even with this coronavirus madness.  I'm using this time to coil up with information in preparation to strike.

I have so many questions...

I keep reading build your team, build your team, build your team (Immediate paralysis). How do I do that without knowing which location I want to build my team in?  I've been doing my location research perhaps googling the same thing as everyone else.  How do you find a good location?  How many locations should I build a team in?  Which team member is most important to start with?  If you're an investor and live in LA can I buy you a coffee?

I'd be grateful for any advice :)
