Will a bank still approve me for a house loan even if I have debt? I don't have any investments yet but my plan is to get an FHA loan and house hack in a duplex.

@Frank Patalano Unfortunately, last year I got a car loan. Right now I’m working on paying it off so I won’t have any debt. I’m 20 btw

Hey guys,

I am 19 year old looking into getting my first duplex this year. I plan to get an FHA loan to finance the property. My question is this, what are some ways I can make more income to be able to put the 3.5% down?
