Hello BP community! hope everyone is well. Im looking for a part time remote job for my wife as she is a stay at home mom and we are beginning our journey in REI. She has previous experience in management. Prior to being a mom she was a project manager and coordinator in construction. She has experience with excel and quickbooks. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all !!!!

There's a pretty solid Sub-To community in the Las Vegas area.  They have lots of meetups and are very active.  I know a few Vegas people in that group.  You can find them through Pace Morby.

If you are looking at rent by the room consider using Padsplit.  I have a couple of them in the Houston area and it just makes the legwork of filling up vacancy in a rent by room scenario much less of a hassle.  My Padsplit rep is actually based out of Vegas as well.  Feel free to reach out if you'd like her contact info

I was not aware thank you! I would love to learn about that method of creative financing. Yes! that would be fantastic, as I plan to rent my primary residence by the room once we purchase another property. I would also love to hear about your experience using padsplit as well. Thank you so much for the help!

Investing in real estate in Las Vegas can be rewarding but also comes with its own set of obstacles. To begin, it's important to familiarize yourself with the market and connect with local experts. Dive into detailed market research, establish clear investment objectives, evaluate your financial readiness, analyze properties thoroughly, and perform due diligence before finalizing any transactions. Starting with smaller, less risky investments can help you gain knowledge and boost your confidence. Keep in mind that real estate investment is a long-term commitment that demands patience, dedication, and continuous education. Don't hesitate to seek guidance, ask questions, and tap into the knowledge of professionals and fellow investors.

Good luck!

thank you very much for the advise!!!  I'm a local so I plan to use that to my advantage.

Sure, what are you looking to invest in?  Is there a certain strategy or type of investment you are focusing on?

I want to start with single family homes/long term rental, but also willing to try different strategies such as renting by the room/mid term.

Hi Jose Ramos! Happy to hear your looking to invest in real estate. That's great you're plugged in the BP community, but I would also look in your local market. Meet.com is a great source to check out and I'm sure they're several RE events going on. Also, check out your local REIs.

Don't be intimidated by other investors or if they're doing better things. Remember, they were once in your shoes too. Go to these events with an open mind and absorb as much as you can. It's about networking and learning from one another. If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to assist.

oh man, thank you so much for the information.Ill definitely be looking into that. I appreciate the encouragement!!!!

I do not at the moment. I was looking for a CPA that can prepare taxes and I can build a relationship with for future investments here in vegas and out of state.
