@Arn Cenedella

Thanks guys, this is all really great feedback.

I am also optimistic about Greenville. I think it’s got a lot of potential. Do you know if any good real estate meetup groups?

@C Coley Mitchell Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. That’s really great feedback. Ideally I know private money is best so I would pursue that first. I know a little about hard money and that it’s expensive but that could be an option. How does one go about seller financing? I definitely want to start small with whatever I do with SF flips or land flips so I can generate some cash and then move on to buy and hold. Those areas in Greenville you mentioned sound like great areas in Greenville that I hadn’t thought of. I have been driving for dollars quite a bit off of woodruff road towards Mauldin because I used to live there. There seems to be some potential there but those may be a little too high to get started so I think I’m going to do some more research on those counties you told me about. Thanks again.

What is the best way to get started on researching the market you want to invest in? I'm interested in flips, vacant lots, and eventually want to do buy and hold. I am new to Real Estate investing and looking to find my first deal with no money down. I'm in the Greenville, SC area. Cheers, and nice to meet you all.
