@Shawn Verma - roofstock isnt really a turnkey company but a more of a marketplace where investment properties are bought and sold online from other property owners. I havent personally bought any properties listed on roofstock before but that's what it is. In turnkey, in short, you are purchasing a fully rehabbed property (in most cases) from a turnkey seller that is price at or near market value. They may or may not have in-house property management in place as well. 

@Bryan Clement  It is being redeveloped but still years away and historically that airport has been a mess. What they need to do is extend the shuttle from JFK to LaGuardia (which is probably not even possible) and the boroughs. The only real way to get there is by car or bus and traffic in midday is a nightmare. 

I have very little exposure with them so I'm not as concerned. 

Received the same email. From what I read, it sounds like they are going to eventually wind down but continue to manage their existing investments and not take on any new investments.

rental prices in LIC has been high for the last few years and apartments in that area are expensive. Manhattan is insanely expensive and year ago Brooklyn went though a revitalization and spread to Queens i'd guess about 5 years ago.

From what I read Crystal City is in Arlington but I could be wrong. LIC has been building for years. historically been a lot of traffic congestion in that area going from Manhattan to the other boroughs to access the airports. Curious to see how that works out. Also LaGuardia airport is not equipped to handle any of that and JFK is further away and traffic can be a disaster.
