Thanks for the feedback Ashley! I believe my best bet right now is to learn as much as I can right now about real estate investing. House hacking seems like it is a smart way to go if you’re in college and are going to be located in a city for a while.

Thank you for the advice, Joseph!

Good evening everyone, I’m a newbie to BiggerPockets. So just a short bio of me, I’m 22, going into my senior year of college, majoring in molecular biology, on the premed track. For the past two years, I’ve been back and forth between how I should continue my career goals after finishing undergrad. At one point I was going to Major in accounting but decided back to biology. I took the basic business classes, financial accounting, macro and microeconomics, statistics, calculus, etc. My dad introduced me to the real estate field, as he owns rental properties and manages a few for my family members. They are all single family housing. So I would like to hear some advice of what someone like me being a college student should consider doing with a strong interest in real estate, especially commercial real estate, I say commercial because I really like the idea of renting and selling income producing properties. Looking forward to hearing from you all!
