Hello!

I am getting ready to purchase my first investment property, and I am currently looking to build my team of professionals. If you have investments properties in the DFW metroplex, who would you recommend as a general contractor?

Thank you!

Hello!

I am a new wholesaler looking for a contractor in the DFW metroplex to walk through some potential buys and estimate the repair costs/ARV. Obviously I don't have the experience right now to estimate myself, and I'd love to walk through with them in order to learn about the process! Since we try to schedule showings as quickly as possible, many times it would be on quick notice. Does anyone have referrals?

Thank y’all!

@Drew Bursey yes, sir I understand. I figured because I don’t have those things going for me that I can make up for it working for free. Thank you, and I will!

@Drew Bursey thank you! Would you consider working for a real estate investor going into sales? I’ve offered to work for a real estate investor in my area for free as long as I get to learn during the process.

@David Richter thank you for the suggestions! It definitely helps a lot, and I’m doing just that right now. I’m trying to seek a real estate investor in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex that I can work for for free; just allow me to learn from them in the process!

@Cole Gartmayer thank you for the book and job suggestions! Although I’ve read Rich Dad Poor Dad, I’m definitely looking into Cashflow Quadrant. I’ve never heard of permit runners, but I’m open to any suggestions regarding opportunities to learn. Thanks!

@Grace Wang thank you for the response! As a full time college student, I wouldn’t want to work full time, but do you think I would have to if I wanted to qualify for a loan? Do lenders only consider full time jobs when considering someone for a loan?
