Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $150,000
Cash invested: $6,000

Single family home investment property 30 minutes outside of Greensboro, NC.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I did not want to sell it, and I saw the value in holding on to this property.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Through Zillow, and this was a new build. The first in the community to be exact.

How did you finance this deal?

Through the VA

Hey everyone I am thinking about buying a new construction home as my second investment property.  What is anyone thoughts of this? As people are paying 20-30K over the asking price.  While new construction homes are rising I still think it’s a better option than overpaying for a home.
