@Chrissy Arnold Hello Chrissy, thank you for the information and for reaching out. Yes, direct mail is very popular in our market, the way I’m handling mine is more personal like hand written letter, post cards, etc.. I am also considering doing probate leads and pre-foreclosure as a side to my direct mail campaign. I appreciate the suggestion when pulling list, will definitely check it out.

@Michael Quarles Hello Michael, thank you for all that information. I actually have started a campaign of absentee owner homes or properties that were bought at least 10 years ago and owner lives in them. I’m doing this driving for dollars, and sending those owners handwritten letters. Then going to do a cold call follow up once my mail is delivered, and yes I will do this for 6 months and hit each homeowner without at least 6 times with couple methods of marketing to them. What you recommend is exactly the methods I had planned out to do, thank you for the assurance. Will also put out bandit signs in the area I’m targeting for those 6 months as well! Thanks, Jose

Hello Everyone my name is Jose Martinez new to BIgger Pockets Community, based out in Joliet, IL close to Chicago. Recently started my wholesaling business Sep 4 of This month. I have done 1 deal that gave me lot of learning but I want to see what kind of marketing is best for a beginner with low marketing budget! Right now I have a carrot Investor website, doing a absentee owner direct mail campaign, & looking to get list from list source to cold call? What list do you guys recommend to start with?
