I started the renovation on a 3 Family property today. I have searched online for different budget spreadsheet but I haven't found something that fits my needs. I'm looking for an easy spread sheet where i can input budget estimate and actual cost of Labor and materials. Also, where it could be broken down by rooms or parts of the projects such as Barthroom, kitchen, roof, paint etc. Lastly, I want to be able to calculate surpluses and shortages per room or parts of the project. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Carmelo, @Carmelo LazuI recently joined BP myself, and I'm from CT as well. I would highly recommend reading the "The ultimate beginner's guide to real estate investing". Is a free book on amazon, and it will help you picking a strategy and building a plan. @Danny Wu Stamford is on the expensive side of the CT Market (Real Estate Prices and Taxes) because of its proximity to NY, but it has developed as one of the largest city in CT as far as businesses and new real estate developments (Apartment buildings), just thought it was good info for you to know.

I'm happy to have joined biggerpockets as a member. I'm a part time investor, who is passionate about small multifamilies rental properties. I'm focusing on 3 to 4 multifamily homes in the Hamden West Haven and Meriden area in Connecticut. i look for houses in need of repair that i can purchased under market value, take care of the repairs and rent them. My real estate agent introduced me to the Biggerpockets podcast. Since then I have learned an immense amount of Knowledge through the podcasts, and the real estate books referred by Josh, Brandon and their guests in the show. I look forward to being part of the biggerpockets community.
