I've negotiated a certain property and I'm in the process of putting it under contract.  The property needs a lot of rehab, so I know that my buyer once he buys it, it's going to take a while to get it all fixed up.  What is the proper way to determine holding costs so we know how much is being spent while the house is being repaired?

I found a good deal and I'm about to put it under contract.  Is it necessary to put down earnest money or is there another alternative?

What is the best way to get an accurate cost for rehabbing properties? I'm just starting to do wholesaling. I'm working on getting my buyers' list together. What I'm concerned about is checking out other peoples' property and seeing the conditions of their house. I need to know the best method of evaluating the parts of the house that need rehab so that I can present my buyers with an accurate ARV.

Ok, I want to start getting my feet wet and start exploring for wholesale deals. I'm going to attend my first REIA meeting at the beginning of September. I'm in luck because it's right by my workplace. I could go there as soon as I get off work.

Loved the video and I posted a comment on it.  Great job renovating that property.  Hopefully, they have houses like that down here in Columbia, SC.

Thanks, Guy. I would be pretty interested in attending an REIA meeting in order to learn a few things. Yes, I'm new at this, but I'm motivated to learn as much as I can. So let me know of any upcoming REIA meetings, and I'll see if I can work around my work schedule.

Ok, I live in the Columbia, SC area.  I want to invest in real estate, but I don't have the financial resources to get started at this time.  I am retired U.S. Army.  I bought a house here in Columbia right before I retired.  I'm interested in buying more houses in the Columbia or nearby areas and then renting them out.  If you live in Columbia or anywhere near the area, I'd be happy to hear from you.  Maybe we can work together and get in on some good deals.  I'm all about learning and becoming better.
