Thank you Steven Griffith!  That recommendation was spot on!  Last night I cancelled an appointment with a bigger brand hvac company after reading your post and made an appointment with Michael and Sons for today.  After diagnosis they quoted me an $889 estimate.  Kenny the technician from Michael and Son's showed me the problem with my hvac and what he has to do fix it.  After agreeing to the repairs, Kenny found out that some of the work didn't have to be perform to fix the unit this saved me $200.  I only $689 for the service.  Always happy to save some money.  Thanks again for the recommendation.

My resident called me reporting a leak at the water heater.  After reviewing the area the leak was coming from the bottom part of the hvac (blower) falling on top of the water heater.  Both water heater is on top hvac unit in a closet.  My thought is that the a/c is causing some condensation that is leaking through the bottom of the  blower unit. Looking for an honest hvac service or person that will inspect and give an estimate in Raleigh, NC.

@Jessica Stevenson you’re very welcome!

@Max Fleissner bought my ozone generator from Amazon. I paid about $75. It worked just fine in my 1100 sq ft rental. I also let someone use it for $25 per day. It worked for them just as well.

I have a two bedroom 1.5 bath condo in Raleigh.  I will be able to take section 8 if available.  I'm looking for a recommendation for a good property management company.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a good recommendation for a fair handyman or contractor to install lamps, sinks and toilets for my new condo rental.  The location would be Raleigh, NC. Looking for a person/business that finish what they started, with good workmanship and reasonably priced.

Thx for the invite Henri

@Nathan Gesner Just an update.  I painted the walls, had the carpets steam clean and deodorized.   This helped but that cigarette smell was stronger.  I then cleaned out the vents and put an order on amazon for an ozone generator.  I had place the ozone generator on the first floor for 24 hrs.  Next day the first floor cigarette smoke smell was gone.  So I took it to the 2nd floor and place it for another 24 hrs.  The ozone generator worked like a charm.  Thank you for your advise!
