How does a 19 year old get started in real estate investing in expensive New York City? I know most people will say "Get a job!". I recently just quit mine, a 9-5 just isn't for me. Having a boss just isn't for me. Any advice, help, suggestions? Thank you.

Hi I am a 19 year old from New York City and I am looking for a real estate mentor to help me get started on my investing career. Ive been reading books, going to seminars, listening to the bigger pockets podcasts and webinars and it all has helped me so much, but I feel like something is missing. I am young and hungry and was just wondering if anybody would like to help me, thank you!

Is there anywhere in NYC where I can be a birddog for an experienced  investor?

If you know someone or a company, please let me know!

I am currently in the works to get my Real Estate Salespersons license in NYC. Do I have to work under a broker for 2 years? Do brokers make more than agents? How helpful is it to build a big/productive team? Please answer, thank you!

Im new to this, but how would I work with them? Do I need to have a partnership and be represented by them? Or can I just send my contracts to them whenever I feel like it?
