Does anyone have any suggestions? Still been trying to find commercial comps.

Hello Biggerpockets!

I recently got in touch with a owner of a commercial retail building and I'm very interested in purchasing it and renting it out. However, where do I go to find comparables for commercial real estate? I've searched online, but it's been tricky. Does anyone on here have any sites or tips on trying to find comps for commercial R.E?

Any help and/or direction would be much appreciated!

Thank you,
Jordan

Hello BiggerPockets community,

I just started REI, and have my first home under contract and for sale. I was just wondering how some of the seasoned REI's and wholesalers find new investor leads? I've put up ads on Craigslist, but feel like there are more ways of reaching out. Does anyone have any tips, advice or tricks of the trade that could help assist me on my new REI adventure?

Any help is appreciated!

I look forward to your replies.

Sincerely,
Jordan

Andrew, I am new to this forum and am happy to see people my age getting into REIs. I'm jumping into it full-time as we speak. Just moved down to Dallas from Toronto to pursue it.

As for for your post, you're educated with the numbers and have experience with construction/carpentry to go through with this deal. Now whether or not you should go for it, well I think if this seed of investment was in the negative you wouldn't post a thread asking if you should go for it, I think you really want to do it. The numbers work, and your skill set comes in handy with the real estate investment, so the only real validation you need is yes from yourself. You got it! Excited to hear what this future investment does for you!

Hello BP community!

My name is Jordan, I'm 23 years old, born and raised in Toronto, ON Canada, and recently came over to Dallas, Texas to start a new chapter of my life.

I am new to real estate and hope to learn as much as I can from these forums, with the future intent of building healthy friendships and business partnerships with the BP community. Any tips or helpful information/content about getting started in real estate from wholesalers, investors and the BiggerPockets community members would be much appreciated for my new full-time endeavor. I am eager to start and excited for what the future has in store!

To end this post, I would really love to hear about how your first REI came into play.

Thank you for your time, I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Jordan M.L.
