Hey everyone!  I searched everywhere but couldn't find a sufficient answer. Hopefully someone here has some good marketing and legal knowledge.

I'm starting to generate some revenue from a few deals and want to direct some funds into my direct mail campaign. I've been marketing mostly to absentee owners. I have found a number of companies that will sell me a late mortgage list for 30, 60, or 90 days. I am suspicious of these lists because I thought such an activity was illegal. I just don't want to buy a list that is worthless. Can anyone expand on the legality of selling (or buying) late mortgage lists?

Hey @Candy Quirino and welcome to BiggerPockets! I think you'll find it incredibly educational and helpful. Along with @James Stevens I am also excited to see someone else in the Temple area interested in REI! As mentioned by others above, there are many resources you can take advantage of, people included. Welcome!
