Hi All,

I just moved to Las Vegas from CA and am looking to connect with other investors through meet ups.  Myself and my business partners (back in CA) own several apartments, while investing in a few passive syndication deals.  We have also joint ventured with other investment groups to own a self storage facility in Galveston, TX.  Is there any that anyone can recommend in Las Vegas?  Thanks all!

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $317,000
Cash invested: $30,000

Currently in the process of selling to pursue acquiring rentals and home flips (BRRRR) with the equity.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

It was my first home purchase with my wife.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Driving around Carson.

How did you finance this deal?

FHA loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Made repairs and updated ammenities.

What was the outcome?

My investment has already doubled since 2009.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I should have purchased a home in a more beat up condition to maximize equity.
