Aj, here you go again shameless plugging Martel, but not disclosing you are actually marketing for them, and get paid to do so! Just a few days ago when you were called out for doing this, you wrote posts apologizing about not disclosing your ulterior motives of financial incentives saying "you would make sure to not do this again, but here you are." It's crazy to me how apologetic you were on this thread when called out, but then you look at the other posts you've made and you're simply copy & pasting the exact same plug for martel on all sorts of threads where people don't even ask for recommendations. I think everyone needs to be aware of what you are doing, and I still don't appreciate you pulling me in with the bait & switch method to simply send my info to Martel in hopes of getting paid for the referral.

For everyone else on this thread, Aj gets paid to refer clients to Martel even though he does not mention that which is against BP rules. He reached out to me when I was looking around for investment options, asked me to PM him where my information was passed over to Martel's marketing list. Not I receive all their emails. They told me that they pay Aj whenever some buys a property from them which would constitute a referral commission. Pretty sure you need to be a licensed broker to receive a referral fee, which you are not. Clearly you are not operating with integrity here!

@Tom S.

Awesome!  Thanks so much for sharing Tom!

Anyone have a good recommendation for where to find a good business line of credit that bases your credit line on business income? I am not looking for a line that is backed by equity like a HELOC, but I need a good business line of credit. All suggestions would be very much appreciated!

@Aj Parikh

YOU DO GET PAID FOR REFERRING CLIENTS TO MARTEL!!!

Aj, I think this is very dishonest for you to say you don't get paid for referrals for Martel when you clearly do.  You've told me on private message, and over email that you do receive referral commissions for referrals to them.  You had asked me to connect over a private message to talk about your experience, and then of course my information was sent to Martel and now I receive all their marketing emails.  I have spoken to many investors that have not had a good experience with them, so I will not be investing with them.  I asked them directly if they pay you for referrals, and they said yes.  When I asked you over email if you did, you said yes, so I don't know how you can say you don't here as that seems to be very inaccurate.  Then you asked me to leave a review for you which is crazy because there is no review to leave expect that you passed my information on to Martel in hopes that you would receive compensation for that.  I'm pretty sure this is against BP rules!  It is important that the community knows your true motives here.

I lost $100k investing in a PPM with this company.  AVOID them!

I invested $100k with this company, and never got paid back!  AVOID!!!

Any experience with AREI, American Real Estate Investments, Real Estate Cowboys, John Larson, Taylor Glasgow, Michael Roberto.

I'm trying to connect with others that invested in a syndication, PPM or lending scenario who have not been paid back.  My brother & I invested $100k with them on two different funds.  We received only a few interest payments, and then all of the sudden they stopped, and I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone!  It makes me sick to think that a company could simply do this, but it appears as if they have no intention on paying us back unfortunately.  I don't even know what recourse we have at this point.  I talked to another investor that invested in multiple of their projects, and same thing happened that he stopped receiving payments a year ago.  I'm trying to connect with anyone else in this situation to see if we can come up with a collective plan, or seek legal advice together.  There should be some legal recourse for this company that appears to simply be stealing people's money.  It's very frustrating to experience because I still get their emails about investing in other opportunities or see what kind of deals they are offering so they are clearly still making money, but have no intention on paying investors back...the last email I got was to invest in Belize.  Please help if you have any experience with them.
