I have always scrapped it using a vinegar water mixture in a sprayer. I've also seen good contractors skim coat right over the popcorn. If the popcorn is painted it will make the removal more difficult.

Can you give details about the situation today ?

How can I contact you?

Yes I have an llc and a contractors license in my state. It would be a conventional. I'd like to buy a property that's needs major work. What do you mean by $5000 or 10%. Thanks.

Does anyone have experience with a contractor buying a house for them self and also acting as the contractor being used in the conventional renovation mortgage ?

Thanks,

Greg, I’m not sure. Where can I find that information. At the worst the closing would be a few days after but I’m hoping not. Would hud really put it back on the market over a few days. I wish I knew this..... Thanks for all the input.

The appraisal and underwriting is done we are in the final stage they are stating but I’m really not getting a definitive answer. I’m an owner occupant. Getting a conventional rehab loan. Is there anything I can do to get another extension if really needed ?

Thanks

I am in contract to purchase a hud home, I have filed a few extensions to close due to lender delays. The last extension I filed, hud stated this would be my last approved extension. It’s all because of the lender I have no control. I’m not sure if the lender will close by the next date approved. Is there anything I can do, I have a lot of money tied up in the deal. Thanks.
