Hello BP! My question is in regards to house hacking. I’m looking at acquiring a property in Oceanside, rather than live in an apartment. I was thinking I could go apply for an FHA loan and put 3.5% down on a duplex, and rent the other side out so that way I could live for cheap, or possibly even make a little money every month. My questions are... what is the nitty gritty? What should I be looking for numbers wise? And what are my chances of getting approved for an FHA loan with decent credit?

Hello BP! Does anybody know if any REI meet ups are happening any time soon? I’m looking to network, and would love to meet like minded investors in my area. I currently am active in the Irvine, Fullerton, and Mission Viejo areas. For those of you looking to network as well, please feel let me know by responding or sending me a PM so that we can meet up!
Thank you Brandon!

Any suggestions on the best Real Estate School to attend In order to get my salesperson license? Online or in person attendance is fine. Just want to know where do I have the best chance at passing the State Exam my first try to get my license.

Hey Zach! I’m looking at both. Just trying to get my foot in the door to closing that first deal, and then create momentum after that.

Hello BP! My name is Jon Khalil, and I am a 21 year old aspiring real estate investor based in the Orange County area. I am new to the community here and am looking to create meaningful, and long lasting relationships with other professionals in the Real Estate industry. More specifically, I am seeking individuals who would be willing to mentor, and guide me to the right decision making as I start my journey in Real Estate Investing. My current interest is buy and hold real estate, and developing a portfolio of cash flowing rental properties to achieve financial freedom. For anyone who might share the same interests/goals as me, please contact me! I am looking to do whatever it takes to achieve my financial goals, and would enjoy collaborating with others to meet their goals as well.
