However, I will not talk badly about FB because I do appreciate what I have learned from them. They taught me about BP during the 3-day seminar.

Thank you all! I'm excited to be here and learn everything I can about REI.

Follow up... I decided not to join FB. I told them I couldn't afford the investment and wasn't going to put that kind of money on a credit card. Then they (this was the first time I'd heard of this) suggested their 'Kick Start Program' which would help me learn to do some wholesale deals in order to get the capital to invest in their program and grow my business. It was $10K for the 10 week program. I again told them that I wasn't going to be putting that kind of money on my credit card. After they heard that, they couldn't get off the phone quick enough and I haven't heard anything back since. So, I think I will take everyone's advice on here and try to grow my business this way with the help of you all, BP, and my local REIA. Thank you all for your help and advice!

Thank you all for your input. I really appreciate all of your advice. I will save my money, invest in BP podcasts and my local REIA. Any other advice on helping me get started? I will take anything i can get.

I went to a FortuneBuilders seminar this past weekend and am wondering if it's worth the $20-34K Invest they are asking for. Does anyone have any knowledge about them, good or bad? Or is there a better way to get started in real estate investing? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I also need to learn the details about wholesaling. I am looking for a Purchase and Sale Agreement and an Assignment of Contract. Can I get these forms on this website? If not, does anyone know where I can get them? Are there any other forms needed for wholesaling?

Hi, my name is Jonica Miller. I live in Longview, Texas. I am new to real estate investing. My plan is to wholesale a few houses in order to get some capital to start rehabbing. I currently need to build up my cash buyers list so if you're a cash buyer in East Texas or are just looking for properties in East Texas, let me know what criteria you are looking for in a house. I will call you when I find a house that meets your needs and will hand you that house on a silver platter!
