@David Wolber I'm currently searching for my first investment property.  Hoping to get into a multi family home in the areas around downtown westerly, really like the neighborhood but hard to find any deals.  Currently looking at a few in Pawcatuck, CT but taxes (in general) are incredibly higher in CT and my job is based out of RI.  I specialized in HVAC but I'm pretty familiar with anything that has to do with wiring, piping, heating, cooling and ventilation. Full installs, troubleshooting or service work/repairs and retrofitting systems.  I'm licensed in the state of RI and work for a pretty large employer and we mainly service commercial equipment but I have previous experience working for a large residential company out of RI.  Looking to get my foot in the door with real-estate and into my first investment property.  Thats the goal at least! I have many questions and concerns right now with everything thats going on in the world but I'm trying to remain optimistic and confident in a decision if an opportunity presents itself.  How long have you been in Groton?  Looking forward to hopefully going to some meetups and making more connections once this Pandemic passes.

Thank you for the welcome, Anthony! I have already discovered many of the helpful tools on this site as well as the books and podcast BP has created. All extremely helpful so far! 

I’m looking to get started specifically in Westerly, RI and the bordering towns of Connecticut (Pawcatuck, Stonington, North Stonington) but I’m open to any and all suggestions and locations that may create a good deal for my first investment.
