Hi @Jonathon Bernstein House Hacking tends to be one of the best routes to go for new investors. Toss in a BRRRR strategy with a few other strategies and the potential to live mortgage free and cash flow when you move out of property is real. What part of NJ are in?

 Hi Shawn,

I am primarily looking to house hack as it appears to be the best path for me. I don't know much about these other strategies other than the surface level. Im located in Northern jersey and would love it if we would be able to chat more on the topic.

Quote from @Emran Chowdhury:

Welcome to BP. Podcast is the first thing you can start listening to understand all the relevant terms for real estate investment.

For initial deals, BRRR is little bit difficult to get started without lining up the lenders. Talk to the lenders first how much you can afford to get loans. I wrote few materials too in those areas before you might find in BP. Good luck!

Hi Emran,

Thank you for the amazing advice! I've taken a look at some of your material, and it's incredibly helpful. I'll definitely check out the podcast to get familiar with key real estate terms. I appreciate the tip on BRRR and will make sure to talk to lenders first to understand my financing options. I'm still unsure of which route I want to take, which is why I would love to witness or assist with the backend of a deal to gain more hands-on experience with different investment strategies.

Hey everyone,

I'm a new real estate investor based in New Jersey with a strong desire to learn about investing in a practical, hands-on way. I'm particularly focused on exploring strategies like house hacking, rental properties, and the BRRRR method to build long-term wealth.

Although I’m just starting out, I bring experience in Finance, Sales and Marketing and I’m ready to contribute by helping with deal analysis, lead generation, number crunching, or property visits. My goal is to learn the ins and outs of real estate investing while adding value to any project I join.

Thanks in advance for any guidance or opportunities!
