Thanks everyone for the love. Would be glad to meet up and talk with other like minded people in the area =).

Thanks @Brian Burke , great to hear. I bet the market in Santa Rosa/Sacramento is great too. Best of luck.

@J. Martin I was wondering why the vote button was there =). Thanks for the tips!

Thanks @Paul Timmins Great ideas. I didn't know the student housing market would be a profitable niche, something to look into.

@Ibrahim Hughes

You're going in the right direction and your totally right, your website could really be a way to funnel your traffic in and build a solid email list that you can market to potential sellers or notify them if you have properties to buy.

What are your needs specifically? Do you want to use your website to capture leads for potential buyers? Do you want to list your properties on the site for people to look at? Also to get first page of google, it takes time and needs someone who understands search engine optimization well and have that built into the site.

You can look on ODesk or Elance, but if you want to be a little more you'll also need to know a little more exact specifications on what you need for your site. I have someone I can refer you to if you interested, just PM me.

Any part of BP that you found has been the most informational/educational and practical for newbies? I'm just trying to figure out where to start...went through the guide and read some blogs, going to start listening to some podcasts soon.

Hi everyone,

So great to be here. I'm Jonathan Hsieh and I'm a software entrepreneur (and hopefully soon a REI) that has a passion for helping people, creating value, and investing and I'm so glad that I just found this awesome community!

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about REI at the moment and looking to purchase my first investment property in the near future.

Meanwhile, I'm open to having a chat with anyone who's interested and wants to talk to an eager-to-learn newbie and share their experiences (both good and bad are welcome).

Looking forward to networking with all of you too.

Have a great day!

Jonathan
