I currently own two rental properties: a single family and a triplex. I have two separate additional liability policies attached to the properties. I don't plan on transferring these properties to an LLC for at least another year so I need the additional liability coverage to protect myself. Its time to renew my policies and both premiums have gone up significantly. I've heard of an umbrella policy which would be one policy that will cover both properties but I'm having difficulties finding a policy in Florida. Every time I ask an insurance provider about it they aren't sure what I'm talking about. I think I may be asking the wrong questions. Can anyone share a bit of information in regards to umbrella policies in the state of Florida? Thank you in advance.

When doing a flip, what level of paint quality is best? I would assume your choice of quality differs from your private residence to a long term rental to a flip.

Hello all, 

My partner and I are newbie investors looking for a meet up in central Florida. We have two buy and hold’s under our belt so far. A 2,600 Sq. Ft. level 2 Reno, and a triplex by UCF. We are working on acquiring our next deal by the end of the year. I hear about looking for meet ups on the bigger pockets podcast and thought I’d seek one out. Please let me know I’d there are any meet ups in the future. I would love to be a part of it.
