@Taylor L. Thank you for the response. So you wouldn’t recommend any type of buy and hold investing with SDIRA, but more passive investing or lending?

@Brian Eastman thanks for the reply. I guess what I meant to say was, I have more funds to start in my 401k than in the bank as those funds are tied up in other things and as I’ve heard many times “the first one isn’t as important, but getting started is” so I am looking to start with my SDIRA funds to get the back rolling until other funds become available.

I just want to get started any way possible and then keep things going and growing

What are the best strategies to use when using funds from a SDIRA

I changed jobs and have money in my company's 401k, but would like to use this money to begin my REI.

Which strategies work best with these types of funds and do any specifically not work.

For example, can you BRRRR with these funds? Anything else to look out for?

Thanks!

I am new to REI investing and am based in the NYC. I was wondering if there was a way to find meet-ups that are NYC based but focus on Out-Of-State investing, or at the very least, some forum threads that focus on this as well.

Thanks!
