Hi everyone! I'm currently building towards larger, multifamily deals and just wanted to network with locals who might be interested in investing as an LP.

I have some deals coming down the pipeline in the near future, so would love to meet anyone that's interested, thanks!

Post: Property Tax Appeal?

I received property tax notifications for 2 out of my 3 properties in Fulton County, GA showing sharp increases in annual property taxes (one was a 50% increase the other almost double). I'm considering appealing it, but not really sure how to? I guess 1) has anyone have any experience successfully appealing and 2) if so, what was the general angle / strategy of justifying the appeal? Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for the insight Quentin! I actually visited a few properties the other day and definitely good to have that insight in my back pocket beforehand. I might end up bumping my budget a bit and checking out the Grove Park area, but we'll see. Thanks again!

I've been hearing there's a lot of appreciation and future development potential for the Grove Park area for various reasons (e.g., Beltline, Microsoft, Atlanta as a whole, etc.). That being said how is the area to the Northwest of the Quarry (e.g., Carver Hills / West Highlands)? I've been thinking of targeting this area for potential STR opportunities, but wanted to hear your opinions on the area.

To me, the location seems attractive as I think it'll benefit from the general development of West Atlanta and it's relatively close to downtown and midtown for visitors. Thanks!

What are your thoughts about properties along the trail? I'm eyeing a smaller, 4-bedroom property about a 5-minute walk from the trail / trail entrance in the Hunter Hills / Mozley Park neighborhood. I'm planning to do some light renovations prior to renting it out (e.g., interior / exterior paint, small repairs, etc.).

Curious what everyone's thoughts are on the development of the Westside trail as well as the impact from Microsoft plans to build a campus a little north at the quarry.

Hey Brian, a little late, but I'd be interested in this as well, thanks.

That's actually the area of East Point I was looking at! If the STR strategy doesn't work out for me that's great to hear you've been having a good experience going the long term rental route.

That's good to hear. In the properties I've been looking at airplane noise is pretty common outside, so wasn't sure how much that would affect home value, if at all really. Thanks for the input!
