I dont necessarily need to borrow money but isnt it the financial liquidity/situation of the US based/registered company that determined whether banks can/will provide mortgages?

Hi Guys, I am a big fan of BiggerPockets and I have followed discussions and podcasts for the last 5 years. I am a European and always wanted to diversify my property investments by investing in the US. How can I do that? I currently have a European based property investment company with capital to invest in the us? I was thinking of creating a US based affiliated company and buy property in the name of this new company. Will it work or are there better ways to make property investments as a non-US resident/national?
