This is great, thank you so much for taking the time. Other than talking with investors, which I plan on doing, is there anywhere you have found that easy and efficient for me to obtain city rules and code? Also, have you found certain rules and codes less desirable for real estate investors?

Hi Brie, Thanks for the response, obviously you can tell we are new to this :) We would like to invest in fix and flip properties. We are all from different parts of the Chicagoland area so we will be targeting those individual locations and surrounding towns because of our current knowledge of the locations. The strategy today, is to fund the projects out of pocket or with hard money. We are still doing our research and open to all ideas though.

Hello beautiful world of Real Estate, I have 4 business partners, we all live in the Chicago land area. We have been talking about getting into the Real Estate investment business for a while. We are finally in a good financial position in our lives to jump in! Can anyone else share their experience of potentially going into a multi member LLC with 4 partners? What does it take? What should we avoid? Best, John
