@Elizabeth Colegrove I read your post from years ago. Do you still manage your properties from afar? If so, who does the walkthrough with new tenants? Who does the walkthrough when tenants leave? Who gives them their keys? And how do you handle evictions?

@Andrew Newlon hey Andrew. Thanks for the post about FHS. They seem pretty big in the Springfield area. They do a great job branding online with their vehicles in several pictures.

Is it possible they are too big? I’m concerned if I use them to manage properties that it may be hard to be much of a priority for filling a vacancy.

I’d like to hear more about hat you think of them though. Feel free to message me with your personal review and thoughts about them, including pros, cons, and recommendations for working with them.

Thanks.

What concerns would you have with paying someone who is not a licensed real estate agent/broker to manage one or several of your properties, specifically in MO?

Post: Will my student loans hold me back from investing?

@Chandler Colyer I've got about 40k left in student loans. Some of my loans have an interest rate of almost 6% and I am trying to pay them off to eliminate the monthly payments and reduce my DTI. However, I've got one loan that is about 10k and the rate is barely above 2%. I'm planning on just letting that one run it's course with the payment plan since I can get a much better ROI on that 10k by using it as a down payment on a house, or as money I could use to rehab a house. Once all my other loans are paid off, for me at least, that 10k loan won't make much of an impact on my DTI.

@Daniel Kong

I didn’t know that about letting money sit for 2 months to consider it “seasoned.” Thanks for teaching me something new today)
