Hi I am in the processes of creating my business plan. my original plan was to start off with  3 or 4 family building owner occupied. In the process I was contemplating going to a section 8 building. I am a newbie to this site although I've been thinking about investing in real estate for a long time now. Can anyone tell me if they think it would be a good idea for my first property to be a section 8 rental Thanks

I'm looking forward to talking to people who can give me great advice and if I can offer any advice to give to you I'll be more than happy to although I have no experience in real estate I do work in a commercial building in New York City as an operating engineer. I'm looking to invest in multi family properties 2 to 4 family houses to be specific. I am from the New York City area and live in Nassau County Long Island.
