I wasn’t attempting to be comical and in my hypothetical story, since Sec 8 is paying $400 a month of her rent, she is not responsible for that part. As far as this girl thinking that she is entitled, think about my story. Sure, she made a mistake of being knocked up at 21yrs old, but, she is a single 21 yr old, working part time and going to nursing school full time.
I have a hard time putting her in classification of being one of those lazy welfare folks who do nothing but sit around and live off us taxpayers. She is the perfect example of what Welfare and Sec 8 should be used for.
She was renting a small house for $375 a month in a bad section of town. It was so bad, that every time she left her house, someone would break in and steal everything she owned. Having a new baby, she was able to get her Sec 8 voucher and move to a much safer area of town.
