Anthony, looking to start with small multi-units. 

Started out in finance out of college and went into heavy construction. Built my home from the ground up on my own with my crews. 

The numbers and construction for me is the easy part. I just have no clue how to break the ice to land my first deal.

Good morning everyone ... I'm from Bergen County NJ. I've been looking to get into RE for a while now. I'm an engineer with a background in finance.

Would be great to meet a mentor that could lead me in the right direction so I can get started on the right foot.

My goal is buy and hold for rental income--build a portfolio. Wouldn't mind flipping however. I just finishing building my own home from the ground up -- was an electrician in college.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
