Have you tried public tax records?

Go to tax authority website. Type in address or PIN number.

so if someone wants to invest Inherited IRA funds by private lending to a real estate investor what is the best way besides cashing out/distribution which is a taxable event?

Hi All,

I need advice. I have my first friendly private investor who has not done this before so he and I are trying to figure out how to make this deal close. He has an inherited IRA and is willing to lend to me with an interest only 2 year loan in which time I will convert to conventional or commercial loan.

What are the steps?

Does he need to convert to a self-directed IRA? If so does he need a custodian that can offer self direction?

Should he setup an LLC in which to deposit the sufficient funds to loan to me?

Where can I find a loan document to use as a template to customize for our loan details?

I have many questions but this is going to be repeated one I figure out the steps. With a conventional mortgage many of the steps are automatic but this time its a la carte.

Thanks in advance for any help

Only people on the losing side of the election are perplexed; this is a worldwide trend. The pro-business Republicans have full control. Our "DCexit" will push back the regulatory corruption. The  years of immigration do-nothing/empty promises will finally be addressed by hard negotiation on both sides to the benefit of hard-working legal and illegal immigrants. Less chance of stupid loser undeclared wars should add a peace premium to our economy. As well as our allies welcome the leadership change. Once the Chinese investors stop buying/stop bailing out Canadian real estate it should crash to a healthy affordable level that reflects a the commodity based economy. There should be opportunities coming in Canada.

With the return of states rights versus the previous encroaching federalism there should be more opportunities in pro business/financially disciplined states. This pertains to lower RE taxes and jobs.

Low interest rates are here to stay. The federal debt cannot afford higher interest rates since its the largest debtor. 2-2.5% will scare the weak but this allows a longer period of good RE prices.

Trump is taking over a Chapter 11 organization with too many middle level manager/bureaucrats creating work for themselves by over-regulating at taxpayer expense.

As a RE investor making 20-25% income on my properties my greater concern has been government intrusion into my income stream. The DCexit election has alleviated some of those concerns. The losers will quiet down. Remember socialism is really about spending other peoples money. Hopefully that will stop or slow down.
