Hey guys! Is there a really small booklet that give a good outline of financial freedom? I’m trying to get my wife interested but any big finance book overwhelms her and she stops reading. I’d love a small booklet that wets the appetite for financial freedom. Thanks everyone!

Post: Taking fewer deductions in my piano business to increase DTI?

Hey Guys!

I am a piano tuner and in the past I've always taken as many deductions as possible to save on taxes. Should I be taking no deductions to maximize my DTI ratio, taking as many as I can to save on taxes, or something in the middle? How should I be thinking about it and doing it this year?

Thanks in advance! Love all the wisdom here on BiggerPockets!

Hey Everyone!

Alrighty, I'm totally new and this would be my first deal. My wife just found a property on Zillow and I ran the numbers as a short term rental. I'm not ready to pay for Airdna subscription. Im not sure how to read these numbers and what I'm missing with not being subscribed. Id love some pointers from this wealth of knowledge! If anyone is a subscriber to AIrdna and can share a more complete report Id really appreciate it. Id be open to partnering with someone who has more experience so I can learn.

This property is a 7 min drive from my parents and younger siblings, so Ive got so connections in the area.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone! Thanks for all the helpful info that's shared so freely here.

So, I haven't bought any rentals yet, but I'm saving up to get started soon. I am a piano technician in CT and am looking to hire a good bookkeeper. What do I look for and what questions should I be asking. What differentiates a good bookkeeper from a bad one? Thanks!
