Ok, I started with a few advantages. First of all it was the home in which I'm living. I had a lease option contract with the owner at a discounted purchase price ( $120,000 ). The property appraisal valued it at $226,000. Waited a year to use my VA loan to purchase the property at amortized value ( approximately $118,000 ). The property had gone up in value at the time of purchase ( $235,000 VA appraisal ). Used a Bigger Pockets recommended lender and agent to complete the sale. Yes, I was the buyer, but it was a great experience for a wholesale deal. Didn't have to find a buyer, but during my purchase I've been in contact with several buyers through my local investors group

Joined Bigger Pockets several months ago. Haven't been active in our community much, but have been conducting business with a Bigger Pockets agent. My first wholesale deal has been completed and was very successful thanks to Bigger Pockets. I'm going to be more active with Bigger Pockets, as I see a great future with the Bigger Pockets community.

I'm new to BiggerPockets and would just like to introduce myself. Briefly, my name is Johnny Nash. Not new to real estate investing, but really needs improving. I've created a team out of family and friends to increase my network. I'm a former surveyor ( 20 years ) and taking test to become a certified home inspector in June 2024. I'm continuing to educate myself in investing to open up more options in my career. Thanks for reading my initial post, hope to add more and exciting posts in the near future.
