@Jason Goretzki thank you I chose Cleveland after ready a few articles about the growth occurring in the area.

Depending on how this goes I will definitely look at doing more out of state investments.

@Ryan Evans Thank you Ryan the reason why I was looking to long term rent one and use the other as an Airbnb was to see which one would be more profitable.

I figured white the long term rental it will pretty much make my morgage payment so I wanted to evaluate a little

I never thought about it from your prespective and your absolutely right people using air bnb you never know who you'll get and it could scar away long term rentals.

I'm looking for any advise to maximize profit and avoid mistakes.

The property is located on the west side of Cleveland. Purchased for $265,000 looking to rent both units. The units are both 2 bed 1 bath the first unit can definitely be converted to a 3bed 2 bath.

I would like to rent one unit long term and use the other as an Airbnb.

What are your thoughts?

@Frank Wong Thank you, yes this will be my first investment and I’m nervous as hell which is why I haven’t pulled the trigger. I’ve read books, listen to bigger pockets and feel the need to take the leap.

I always viewed real estate as a vehicle for financial freedom. I won’t to have more time with my kids and enjoy life well I can.

I appreciate your knowledge and input. Any help or advise I’ll take it.
