Hey Eli! I just sent you a message. I’m looking to connect with fellow young investors in Cincy to bounce ideas off of and learn together.

Some general advice: if you have enough for a down payment, consider house hacking around your campus. Instead of renting a house with friends, buy a house yourself and have your friends pay you. This way you can get your feet wet with landlording (hopefully not much), investing, and cash flow. I wish I had the capital to do this a few years ago! Start sooner than later my friend. Goodluck!

Cincinnati (and Northern KY) are booming real estate economies - cheap property, a lot of economic and population growth. I am very excited to see the growth of this beautiful city continue and hopefully be a part in this change!

Hey Blake, this definitely sounds like a doable idea! My current goal is also to eventually get 5 or so rentals for some easy cash flow, be able to do maintenance and flips myself when needed, and live off of that one day. Sounds like we have a similar idea here.

What area are you in specifically? I am an agent in the Cincinnati area. I am sure myself or someone I know can help you out in SE Ohio area. If you're interested in handling the maintenance and upkeep yourself, I would recommend researching more info on your area specifically, find any growing or slightly urbanized areas in SE OH (might be limited there). Or if you're willing, consider moving towards the east side of Cincy. Areas like Bethel, New Richmond, Amelia, etc. I'd love to help!
