Yeah, that's what I was thinking, just shop around for some pricing on different materials. Now how would you know which materials to choose from, since there are a variety to choose from? For example which flooring material to choose from. And do you basically use the same type of material for every flip?

I'll be starting a first flip very soon, but I seem to be lost at the moment when it comes to finding the right appliances, materials for the interior (i.e., flooring, crown molding, etc.), if needed, which A/C unit to buy, and basically everything else. How do you know which to choose, so that it doesn't bust your bank? I know you wouldn't go for the most expensive one, but how did you go about it? 

Or if you didn't do it yourself, did someone else do it for you, like the contractor?

I'm pretty new to this aspect of rehabbing, and was wondering how to find the best prices for rehabbing the home, and which appliances and materials to buy for the best possible profit, but not to make the house look ugly either.
